Overview of Role
Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
I was an intern in the Equity and Incentives team. I was immediately put in engagements teams on a wide range of clients. My day-to-day was spread across tax, accounting and legal work. I received a variety of training sessions and shadowing opportunities. As well as being able to perform client work and sit in on client meetings.
Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
Yes, across the internship I was able to do similar work to the full-time analysts in the team. This involved working on client projects and sending work directly to senior managers.

Skills Development
Have you learnt any new skills, or developed your existing skills?
The biggest skill I have developed is communication both written and verbal. I have had great exposure to presenting and contributing in meetings as well as drafting client facing emails.
In addition, I have learnt a lot of industry specific technical skills.
