Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
Alongside my project responsibilities, I also took the initiative to organise shadowing opportunities across different departments and build relationships with colleagues throughout the business. Having ownership of my own project gave me valuable experience in accountability, decision-making, and professional communication, and made me feel like a valued member of the team rather than just an observer.

Recommendations & Advice
Would you recommend British Airways to a friend?
What advice would you give to others applying to British Airways
During the internship, I found that some of the best experiences came from exploring areas that interested me, whether that was through project work, networking, or arranging shadowing opportunities in different departments. I would also encourage others not to be afraid to ask for help or reach out to new people. Everyone is very supportive and willing to share their knowledge, and building those connections can help you learn a great deal and make the most of your experience.
Overall, be proactive, stay curious, and take advantage of the opportunities available to you. The more you put into the experience, the more you will gain from it.
