Overview of the Role

Overall, how would you describe your experience at Network Rail?

My overall experience at Network Rail has been brilliant. I have enjoyed going around different placements and learning about the different aspects of the business.

What are the main responsibilities of the role and which elements of the role do you enjoy the most?

Placements I have done include: Route Crime, Operations Readiness and Resilience, Timetable Changes, Passenger Experience, Works Delivery (Projects - Engineering), Freight, and Initial Signalling Training. I have also had the opportunity to visit signal boxes, go out with the Mobile Operations Managers, and do cab rides. What I enjoy the most about the role is I get to move around departments and figure out what it is I would like to do further in my career.
