Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
Yes. I was trusted to manage and record my own hours. I was given client manuscripts to proofread and trusted to look over these in-depth.

Yes
What advice would you give to others applying to Writing Dr
You need to be comfortable managing your own time and working odd hours. As you're reliant on when clients submit their work, you may find yourself working all weekend one week, then only two hours on a Wednesday the following week. Be prepared to be flexible. It's a great insight into what it could be like if you managed your own business or went on to work fulltime for a flexible company.
