Women Who Audit: Step into Summer was a virtual insight programme focused on Audit and Assurance at Deloitte. The day included talks from current employees, an introduction to audit and the audit cycle, a practical case study, panel discussions, and insights into career progression, professional qualifications, work–life balance, and the female experience at Deloitte.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I developed my communication and problem-solving skills by listening to Deloitte employees, asking questions during the sessions and completing a practical audit case task. The programme also improved my understanding of Audit and Assurance and helped me feel more confident engaging with professionals.

Company Culture

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?

The company culture felt very supportive, inclusive and welcoming. The speakers were open and honest about their experiences as women in the industry, which created a friendly and encouraging atmosphere. They also seemed genuinely willing to answer questions and help participants understand what working at Deloitte is really like.
