Overall, how would you describe your experience at UNIVERSITY OF CHESTER?
It has been illuminating. The projects I undertook in the course of this job has given me a lot of transferrable skills. The job brought opportunities to work with people from different departments and in that way, a bridge to learn other methods to do things
What are the main responsibilities of the role and which elements of the role do you enjoy the most?
main responsibilities involve working in partnership with CAID staff and other Student Learning Consultants to:
· Support the enhancement of teaching and learning across the institution.
• Analyse learning materials, activities, and digital content.
• Inform, develop and critique the curriculum.

Every project has given me a chance to bring in my unique perspective and personal experiences into play, same for others which has encouraged me to learn from team members to a large extent.

My future career is one in the population health space. Although my role as a student learning consultant is not about health outcomes, it involves research and investigation, working with people from diverse backgrounds, getting reports ready and being an advocate, which are all quite necessary for my future career
How would you rate the extent to which you were developing new or existing skills through formal training and your day-to-day role?

For almost every project, I have acquired a new skill. For example, an AI innovation project, made me learn how to work with Sharepoint to create publishable web pages and simulation project made me learn how HSP technology works

I am an international student who has had the opportunity to work with people from diverse backgrounds, culturally and professionally. The environment has always been inspiring. The role is also hybrid.

Why?
It pays well but is also a unique learning experience. the job is hybrid giving enough chance to focus on your studies as well

It exceeded my expectations. I initially thought I would do certain office duties instead I participate in different projects. Each project with its unique goals, challenges and lessons to reflect from. I always now look forward to project calls from the team
