Overview of Role
Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
I contributed to the auditing process by completing testing, risk assessments and travelling to client sites. Day-to-day I was given a task and some training. Then I would complete the task and review it with my performance manager. I also communicated with clients and expanded my network.
Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
Yes, I undertook work that has a real impact on the audit of the company. Despite this, I was given a lot of support to help me transition.

I received ample support and guidance from my buddy, performance manager, performance leader and the whole PS team. Whether this support was more personal or work focused, everyone was happy to help and extremely welcoming.

Company Culture
What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
The company culture was very pleasant. Everyone I met was friendly and helpful making me feel comfortable and welcomed to the company. I looked forward to going to work every day to see my team. We had social events were I was able to meet people from outside my team and expand my network further,

Overall Experience
To what extent did you enjoy your placement / internship?
I thoroughly enjoyed my internship. I was given real tasks and real responsibility from the beginning and had an overwhelming amount of support and guidance from my team. I felt a real sense of accomplishment as I neared the end of my work knowing it would have a real impact. I learnt a lot about audit processes and the experience exceeded my expectations.
