Overview of Role
Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
During my four-week Audit internship at Deloitte Aberdeen, I gained valuable hands-on experience working both in the office and on client sites. I contributed to a range of audit tasks, including disclosure note reviews, audit testing, qualitative consolidation work, and drafting conclusions. The internship enhanced my understanding of the audit process and how financial information is assessed in practice. One of the most rewarding aspects was collaborating with a wide range of friendly and supportive colleagues, who helped create a welcoming working environment. I thoroughly enjoyed the office culture, developed new skills, built professional relationships, and gained meaningful insight into a career in audit.
