Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
I worked on multiple engagements during my time at Deloitte. As an intern my job was to do whatever tasks need to be done on my engagements every day. This involved doing a variety of different tasks throughout my internship.
Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
As I progressed in my understanding I was definitely given more technical jobs and more responsibility. When I started I had no knowledge of how an audit worked so was doing simple tasks with supervision but by the end I was doing my own tasks and only had support when I asked for it.
