Overview of Role
Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
Every day was a new day. It was a very dynamic place and it almost felt like you were in the avengers. This because you could make anything you want from scratch. My day-to-day involve providing mass and energy balance calculations, so do as providing finance analysis within the team for expenses. Moreover, research was done every day for product design efficiency.
Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
Yes, the responsibility was equally spread within the team, but you still felt you were an essential part of the team.

Skills Development
Have you learnt any new skills, or developed your existing skills?
Absolutely! I learn to do welding, annealing, 3D design and printing, laser cutting, programming, circuits, thermodynamics and fluid mechanics just to mention a few.

How much support and guidance did you receive during your placement / internship?
The placement give me a real world-experience. I could ask my senior supervisors for project advice without them taking complete autonomy of the team decisions. So it felt the company really trust on us and will always give advice for improvement when needed, highlighting health and safety aspects.

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
Innovation, punctuality, sustainability, efficiency and optimisation. The atmosphere is amazing, you feel you are surrounded by a team willing from you to learn and develop the best of you and your skills, showing you that nothing is impossible.

To what extent did you enjoy your placement / internship?
All of it. Specially the real work experience, I truly appreciate the opportunity given and I will treasure the experience of being part of a big innovating company. I have develop knowledge and skills that I never thought on and I am passionate about since then, so do as improving theoretical skills.
