Overview of Role
Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
On a day-to-day basis we have a stand up meeting in the morning to discuss what has been done the previous day and what we are all individually working on for the rest of the day. It also clears up any confusion and a chance to ask questions. The rest of the day involves completing the tasks and checking in with my manager.
Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
Yes, I was given the opportunity to handle financial statements and also meeting notes to summarise. However, there were days that it was less busy and there wasn't much work that could be assigned to me.

Have you learnt any new skills, or developed your existing skills?
I learnt the importance of effective communication, teamwork and asking questions. I also realised the value of attention to detail and time management in the workplace. This experience has helped me understand the expectations of working in a large organisation and improved my confidence.
