Football Services and Operations Assistant Review

Using Data System Power BI to transform Raw data into visual models to monitor Safeguarding qualifications and DBS status of all adults operating in Youth Football in any capacity across Essex, and achieving significant improvements in compliancy across all metrics
Assisting the Football Services team in delivering 26 competitions across the whole of Essex, the “County Cups” including managing logistics of venues, referees, and other statistics from each game in each competition, as well as analysing data to measure the performance of each cup with regards to entry numbers, fixtures completed and disciplinary administration in comparison to past seasons.
Taking responsibility for many operations tasks within the business, including ordering office supplies, organising and sorting post in/out of the office, using BT Cloud work to track and administrate data for all calls handled by the business.

I felt I was given a high level of responsibility here at Essex FA, having the mandate to assist in delivering our 26 County cup competitions. This was a intense workload throughout the year, especially when it came to the period our finals were. I was also responsible for other business operations tasks such as orders for office supplies, setting up new staff 's laptops and other IT tasks for the business

I have learnt a lot in my year at Essex County FA, from Customer Relationship management systems and portals, to answering phone calls to the business, developing existing skills in Microsoft office and Excel, and other Microsoft data systems such as PowerBI

The staff at Essex FA were very welcoming and always open to answering any queries I had. I settled in very quickly because of this and felt as if I was part of the team from minute one.

There is always a good mix of characters in the office and it is always a pleasant and enjoyable working environment. I looked forward to being in the office everyday and this felt like a true sense of belonging within the business

Overall my experience at Essex County football association has been a brilliant experience, and I am looking forward to using the skills and adeptness I have learnt in my year in the industry in my final year of study and my future career. I come into my final year of study more prepared, more knowledgeable and more employable. I would say that overall it has been a great success for my career development.
