Overview of Experience
Please give an overview of the insight and what was involved on a day-to-day basis.
Day 1 began with a warm partner welcome, setting the tone for what would be an engaging and insightful programme. We were introduced to our case study and I had the pleasure of meeting my Group 4 teammates — a motivated, collaborative group who quickly aligned on goals and working style. Together, we allocated roles, conducted risk analysis, and developed stakeholder mapping as we began tackling the case. We also took part in adaptability and financial analysis workshops. These sessions pushed us to think analytically. Later, we stepped into practice audits and valuations, making critical, team-based decisions that mirrored real-world client work. A tech session further highlighted the growing importance of digital tools within the industry. The day concluded with an insightful networking dinner, where I had the opportunity to speak with an auditor and gain valuable perspectives on career pathways and day-to-day life at Deloitte . Day 2 focused on refining our analysis and preparing for our final presentation. We had an insightful panel session where we dove deeper into the world of Audit and Tax. Following this, we worked intensively as a team to consolidate our findings and deliver our recommendations- presenting this to a Deloitte panel. This experience strengthened my communication, teamwork and problem-solving skills while also boosting my confidence. We wrapped up by learning more about future opportunities, leaving me even more motivated to pursue a career in this field.
