Spring into Deloitte Intern Review

The insight day programme lasted two days and gave a really good overview of the firm. On the first day, we learned more about Deloitte and how it operates. We were put into groups and worked on a range of tasks, with feedback provided afterwards to help us improve. There was also a dinner organised as part of the programme, which gave us the chance to network with Deloitte staff and managers in a more relaxed setting.
On the second day, we had a panel session with people who had completed the Spring into Deloitte programme and have since progressed within the firm. They answered our questions and shared their experiences, which was really helpful. We then took part in more group tasks, presented our work to a panel, and received feedback on our performance. The programme finished with an explanation of the next steps and the opportunities available to us.

It was really helpful to understand the business from an inside perspective, as everything was explained clearly. The different roles available within the firm were also well outlined, with each one explained in enough depth to give a good understanding of what they involve.

During the programme, I was able to develop my communication skills and take my ability to work in a team to another level. It also encouraged me to pay more attention to other key workplace skills that are important for personal and professional development.

The company culture was really impressive. You could clearly see the firm’s values reflected in how people were treated. Overall, the atmosphere was great, and everyone felt included.

The experience surpassed my expectations, especially as I wasn’t entirely sure what to expect going into it.
