There is an excellent central team for early careers and some really helpful people in HR, it will depend on what site you are on, for how the support network is their.

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
It is a very traditional warehouse atmosphere, not too modern. However, being acquired by M&S will definitely be a step in the right direction for Gist.

Overall Experience
To what extent did you enjoy your placement / internship?
I enjoyed it a fair bit, there were great people on my site who would help me with tasks and assign me different things if I didn’t have much on. Overall a couple rotten eggs did not spoil the placement, I defiantly learned a lot about business and myself, whilst making some friends along the way.
