Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.

Delivering phonics, english and maths interventions with tailored 1:1 and small group support for pupils with SEN (e.g ASD, ADHD) EAL and behaviour challenges.
Promoting safe practice and safeguarding in line with policies.
Collaborating with staff to develop innovative and engaging programme activities eg: I lead debate, arts and crafts, games clubs and more
Providing in class support and working closely with the SEN team to ensure consistent, personalised learning strategies
Mentoring pupils to build confidence improve behaviour and attendance and creating a welcoming, inclusive school environment
Developing professionally through epilepsy training, Plumm wellbeing training, national college CPD and city year uk’s leadership developing programme (CMI level 3)
