Talent Insight Programme Review

• Completed KPMG UK’s Tax & Law Insight Programme, gaining insight into the firm’s Tax & Law services, client work and career pathways.
• Took part in work shadowing, Q&A sessions with graduates, networking activities and group-based tasks focused on collaboration and problem-solving.
• Explored areas including tax advisory, legal services, corporate tax, litigation support, and tax technology and innovation.
• Developed a stronger understanding of how KPMG supports clients with complex tax, legal, regulatory and technology-driven challenges.
• Built confidence in communicating with professionals, working with new people and contributing within a team-based environment.

Understanding the business and the potential roles available was very insightful and helped me gain a clearer idea of what a future career at KPMG could look like. I found it especially useful to learn more about the different areas within Tax & Law and how they contribute to client work. Everyone I spoke to was approachable and willing to answer my questions, which made the experience even more valuable. Overall, I have had a great time and found the programme very helpful.

The place was very welcoming. Everyone at the company was themselves and at no point did it feel like there was a script. Everyone was comfortable being themselves and so I was comfortable being myself.

I really enjoyed the insight programme. I initially expected it to feel quite intimidating, but within the first few minutes, I felt welcomed and comfortable. Everyone I met was approachable and genuine, which encouraged me to engage more, ask questions and make the most of the experience. It has been a memorable few days, and I will definitely remember the people I met and what I learned for years to come.
