Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

I am HLTA within a school in the KS1 class. I help with the running of the class, cover PPA and create plans and interventions.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

After thinking this course might not be able to offer me much - i was pleasantly surprised that it did! I have really enjoyed the weekly training and having an environment where i can share experiences and chat with others in a similar situation.

It is very well structured and supported. The staffing team are very understanding and considerate of our needs and wants.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

Lots of support - they are always responsive to emails with questions or issues as quickly as possible...even sometimes replying our of hours!
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

They have been very supportive from start to finish and helped me get my new job role in September. Nothing has been too much trouble.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

It has given me the knowledge to support the skills I have gained through years of school experience. Creating an understanding of the why behind what we do, enabling us to make more informed decisions.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

We are encouraged to communicate and socialise with our peers and were looking forward to our graduation party.
