During my placement, I developed a solid foundation of key skills and knowledge that will continue to benefit my professional journey. Foremost among these is a deep understanding of FCA regulations, which provided me with a structured framework for evaluating financial activities, ensuring compliance, and recognizing the regulatory boundaries within which a business operates. I also sharpened my analytical thinking, learning to dissect complex information, identify patterns, and draw evidence-based conclusions through customer outcome testing. Time management emerged as a critical capability, enabling me to prioritise tasks, meet deadlines, and balance competing demands in a fast-paced environment. Through consistent practice, my communication skills—both written and verbal—improved as I prepared reports, presented findings, and liaised with colleagues across departments, ensuring clarity and precision.

I have two weeks with the previous intern (now will be a month continuing to next intern), and have continuous support throughout from mangers.

Welcoming and causal however gave me the opportunity to take ownership for challenging work.
