Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.

Being an IT Business developer this can include building apps on certain platforms from scratch such as on apex and , making and adjusting current power BI's , python scripts also includes some debugging and some smaller tasks such as making physical office entry cards .

Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?

Quite a fair amount of responsibility which is great because it makes you really think about the system your going to build. For example i have built a system solely from scratch and it was a key system being used so being the owner applies some pressure but in the best way as this pushes you to develop and always find a solution to any problem and because you know how the system works a majority of the time it can be straight forward

I really did enjoy the whole experience it has taught me a lot of how to approach projects, seek help when needed, build strong bonds with reflect in your work if i had the opportunity to come back as a graduate i definitely would

This is not University it stretches beyond deadlines and grades people are counting on your work and need you to solve problems. You need to deliver under pressure and on the other hand BMW have one of the best environments so you will receive the support you need and get that project completed
