Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

Come to a classroom once a month and will go through a power point and then do some work on one file and DTS. Doing the power point was good with our trainer from TRS was bang on. Was just long and boring doing all the work on one file and DTS.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

Again TRS trainer is Brilliant, however the course itself is too long to much journal entries to do. Seems like there is a lot of work that needs to be done on one file which seems to be irelivante to getting a class 2

Learnt a lot due to DTS, and the power points.

How well organised/structured is your programme?

The programme is good and well organised From TRS however LCC werent very organised to begin with. for example we all struggled to get logins for our computers for the first 3 session. Not getting any proper communication from our managers to lets us know what is going on or when the course is on etc.

I got some support to revise for my theory test.

The Training Provider was excellent always read to help and answer any questions you have.

Massively I think without our trainer from trs this wouldnt have been possible as he is always there to push us and to get the best out of us.

yeah could do with team activities to get everyone comfortable with each other like abit of an ice breaker.

Would you recommend Lancashire County Council to a friend?
No
Why?
They tell you what you want to hear but wont do anything you will always be stuck in the same position no matter how hard you work.
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Lancashire County Council?
If you got no option then yeah join but dont believe everything you get told. As nothing happens dont work harder than you should and think it will be seen.
