Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.

As a year in industry student I was based with operations and control department. On the day to day basis I was assigned to help with ongoing projects whenever there was scope, in addition I was able to visit other departments across the country, while also attending industry and university days, during my working hours as a part of my professional development.

Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?

I was given responsibility for individual project actions as well as leading a project on my own, with my senior collegues' support.
