Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

There are lots of volunteering opportunities and cool events - I got to participate in a 10km charity run on the runway at London City Airport, and some of the other apprentices got to play rugby at Twickenham Stadium. I also got to help interview potential future apprentices.

Why?

It’s been the best decision I ever made - I love my job and it’s set me up with a really good career path. I have recommended it to a friend who joined a year after me.
