Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

Since September I have been apart of the systems, working closely with out Inventory and ERP coordinator. I help try and keep stock level on the inventory management system accurate inputting production sheets correctly and ensuring stock which is moved from one warehouse to another in person is reflected on our system as well. I am also responsible for distribution checking orders to ensure warehouse have enough stock and can fulfil an order. Furthermore, I work within the e-commerce side of the business, helping to make the prices on the website to be correct as well as updating products as when they change.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I do enjoy my programme as it is challenging and keeps me busy on a daily basis. I have support and help when I need it and being surrounded by a driven set of people inspires me to work hard
Skills Development
Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I have learnt a lot since joining in September. Before joining, I didn't know what Shopify was, but now I have built up a lot of skill and knowledge of the e-commerce platform. I can confidently navigate it and often know the answers to peoples' issues if some arise. Moreover, my communication and teamwork skills have advanced significantly. I am more confident with picking up the phone and calling people.

How well organised/structured is your programme?

My programme is well structured - I have recently started to have lessons every Thursday morning which I complete online on teams. Since joining in September 2025, I have had set work which I have to complete before my next review with my Tutor. Any questions I have about the work, I always ask someone at Vuba and they are always willing to help
How much support do you receive from your employer?

The support which Vuba offers me is great. Whenever I am struggling to complete something, I always have someone to go and ask for advice and it is give to me.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

I have a review every 3 months and they check in to see how I've been getting on and to mark my work which I have had to compete for them.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

Not a lot. I feel like the stuff I have learnt in the course lessons I already knew due to me doing A-Level business.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

Yes, on Monday nights we play 6 a-side against each other on the Hull university 4g pitches. I really enjoy this as its time to unwind from the days work while playing a sport I enjoy and having fun at the same time.
