I work as a Partnership Manager within the leisure and sport sector, overseeing the performance and development of multiple leisure centres across the North region. We operate the centres on behalf of Manchester City Council. I line manage 4 General Managers. My role is responsible for overseeing operations, finance and community impact, and involves working closely with local authorities, centre management teams and partners to ensure facilities are well run, financially sustainable and delivering real social value. I lead on performance monitoring, contract delivery, stakeholder relationships and the development of programmes that increase participation, particularly among under-represented groups, while balancing commercial outcomes with community priorities.
