Overview of Role
Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
-Observe and assess children’s progress
-Carry out observations, record what children can do, and help plan their next steps.
-Build strong relationships
-Act as a key person for a small group of children
-Safeguard and promote wellbeing
-Follow safeguarding procedures, maintain safe environments, support hygiene routines, and ensure every child feels secure and included.
-Work as part of a professional team
-Communicate with colleagues, contribute to planning, follow policies, and take part in training and reflective practice.
-Complete apprenticeship learning
-Balance on‑the‑job experience with coursework, off‑the‑job training, and preparation for the End Point Assessment.
