Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
5/5
My job involves solving technology issues in banks and capital markets, on a day to day I have stand up meetings with my client teams where we either research, create powerpoints, plan integrations.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
5/5
My role is the perfect mix of finance and computer science, I find that learning on the job and bouncing between university and work keeps me productive, making most of my time.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
5/5
I have learned so many professional and technical skills which I don't think I would've been able to get as a first year student. An example would be my continuous learning of AI in the banking market, as in my job I am required to constantly update myself on what AI banks have been implementing.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
4/5
I have a blend of 80% working and 20% studying where my studies link directly to my work.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
5/5
All my colleagues and managers fully understand my limits and show that they care for my career growth as such a young new joiner, they understand when I need to prioritise my university work.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
5/5
I receive a lot of support from my coach who checks in with me every 6 weeks.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
5/5
An example of this would be my Data Analytics module. The content learned such as SQL comes very handy at work as Data Analytics is a role we often play.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
5/5
I get involved in the muslim society and go to all the consulting apprentice network going to all the socials which helps me keep in touch with my colleagues and have a work life balance.
