I receive great support from my learning coach who I can contact through my learning portal or through email. If I don't understand something in my course work, she will set up a meeting to discuss it in depth.

I have learnt how to provide the best care for children aged 0-5

Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

No, not really. We do run settling in sessions and have open days for new parents which we help with.
