Planning and implementation of new or changed production processes and machinery. Creating work instruction for production associates. Ensuring streamlined processes following lean manufacturing principles.

How well organised/structured is your programme?

Time spent within an assigned 'home' department where skills are learned within that technology. Potential for placements within other departments to support with your development. Fortnightly 1:1's with my line management to support my progression into a final role. Dedicated apprentice advisor to support with any HR topics, including moving into a final role at the end of my apprenticeship.

How much support do you receive from your employer?

Fortnightly 1:1's with my line manager to go through any topics with agenda steered by myself. Apprentice advisor available if further support is required.

How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

Lecturers are typically difficult to contact outside of teaching hours. However, during contact hours, they are usually able to support.

How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
