i work in milling and will do anything thing from recovering machines to proving out programs and writing my own.

To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

Its fun, i use problem solving skills every day and no 2 days are the same

I have learnt to program and write code for 5 axis cnc machines

Communitcations between college is poor but withing the company its fairly good, i get to experince different sides of the company.

How much support do you receive from your employer?

If help is needed im always offered it. But support with college is limited

my work is done by me so i dont really need much support

How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

It helps me understand the basics but there are topics missing that could be there

Show motivation and show interest. someone who wants to do a job because they have passion is more valuable than someone who thinks they can do it just because of certificate
