Overall Rating

2.4 /5

The Overall Rating is the average of all the ratings given in each category. We take those individual ratings and combine them into one final score!

3/5 - Skills Development
2.2/5 - Structure and Support

Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

3/5
come into the office carry out the same task on repeat head home at 3pm then repeat 5 days of the week

To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

2/5
pretty boring only positive is being able to go on placements

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

3/5
Ive developed some skills via the apprenticeship, however id say I've learnt a lot more skills from the people I'm working with rather than what the scheme gave me

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?

1/5
not organised, college don't know what's going on, work has no clue what's going on and in the end the apprentices are the ones that suffer from it

How much support do you receive from your employer?

3/5
to be honest the support is really great, but the only reason they have to give us so much support is due to the fact everything is just all over the place

How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

2/5
they partially teach us, so that's a start. however they do very little in regards to actually prep us for anything

How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

1/5
nothing we learn is valuable, due to the fact we aren't taught it to use it, we only get taught to pass the module so we never actually learn how to use what we do at college

Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

4/5
every now and then the apprentices go out for drinks, there is a football lot and possibly more things but those are the only ones I know about

Recommendations & Advice

Would you recommend BMW Group UK to a friend?

Yes

Why?

only reason I'd recommend this is because of the fact that once you have made it past the 4 years of dealing with hell and wanting to quit, you have an amazing looking CV with a good qualification attached to it, but if you aren't looking at beefing your CV up, then don't bother

What tips or advice would you give to others applying to BMW Group UK?

be yourself, don't be some fake persona
