Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

4/5
Working with the Computer Aided Quality Systems team, looking after quality IT systems in production and on the assembly line. Reporting and data analytics, and working with other business areas on system change requests.

To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

4/5
I enjoy the program, particularly the work side of it, although I find the university side of the course can be more difficult and I don't enjoy this as much.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

4/5
I've learned lots of communication skills through working with a wide range of people, and data analytics using different reporting softwares.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?

3/5
Support from my team at work is good, however university support is significantly lacking and it can be difficult to contact and receive help from the university when required.

How much support do you receive from your employer?

4/5
Lots of support is received at work, with my home department being very welcoming and helpful.

How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

1/5
University support is very poor. Many lecturers can be difficult to contact, and don't always seem to be competent in the content they're teaching.

How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

2/5
While some of the content we learn at university can be applied broadly at work, most of it does not apply to my job role and it can be difficult to find the links between academic content and job role at work.

Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

4/5
While I don't participate, there are many network groups available.
