The role involves being a keyperson, completing observations and reports for the children, setting up the rooms and activities everyday, completing checks and risk assessments as well as extra virtual learning.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

The apprenticeship is amazing, lots of support from your tutor but no support in getting out of the room and ratio to get any work done, all getting done on your time off or weekends.

How well organised/structured is your programme?

The tutor and programme is amazing, loads of resources to turn to and they are always open to coomunicate with to offer help and support. Getting out of the room to get any work completed and OTJ hours is almost impossible I have had about 2 hours out of the room in 3 months so a lot of your apprenticeship work is getting done at the weekend or in the evenings after work making it a little harder to have a good work life balance.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

They will provide support with resources and sending relevant procedures for you to read to help with your assignments but getting out of the room is not something they help with.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
