Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

5/5
Hands on, interesting and exciting new opportunities for more qualifications and career opportunities

To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

3/5
I enjoy the programme however I would enjoy it a lot more given there was more urgency in organising assessments and co operation between management to ensure I am given time out towards my qualification and given cover when assessments / professional discussions are booked in the diary.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

5/5
I have been given the opportunity to be a key worker for a child with EAL needs and additional support which has allowed for extra training sessions to learn how to support children with specific needs such as hearing impairments. I have learnt sign language , how the UK education system support children with levels of hearing impairment and adapting the environment to support these needs.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?

1/5
My programme has structure in terms of deadlines ( supporting me in making sure I am on track to be qualified) however the programme has not been effectively organised due to lack of staff being enrolled to allow cover for my assessments and professional discussions.

How much support do you receive from your employer?

3/5
I could be supporter better by having my allocated time out covered - I do not currently get any time out towards my qualification and my assessments/ professional discussions have been postponed on two occasions.

How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

4/5

How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

5/5
The training provider is clear on deadlines and offers me multiple ways to see that I am on track and meeting deadlines visually.

Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

3/5
There are little social activities but fine opportunities such as staff meetings and open days to discuss work.
