Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

5/5
This role involves working four days a week and attending the academy once a week, which gives you a full day to catch up on assignments, ask questions, and get support from tutors. It’s also a great opportunity to make friends, share experiences, and bring new knowledge back to colleagues in the nursery. My apprenticeship has been such a positive and rewarding experience, largely because the team is so supportive and welcoming. From the very beginning, they spend time getting to know everyone’s individual learning styles and create time to work with each student one-to-one, helping to shape and support us in the best way possible. That personalised guidance has been invaluable in helping me grow in confidence, develop my skills, and work towards becoming a Level 3 teacher. The encouragement, support, and knowledge shared by both the team and tutors has created such a positive environment to learn, grow, and thrive.

The programme is very well organised and structured. Everything is planned out clearly, which makes it easy to stay on track and balance work with study. They give plenty of time to complete assignments, which works really well alongside working at the same time, and the expectations are always clear. They are also very understanding and supportive if you need extensions or extra help, which makes the programme feel flexible as well as structured. Overall, the organisation of the programme has made learning manageable, supportive, and enjoyable.
