Providing consistent and sensitive care to children in the setting and providing opportunities for the children to learn new skills in their development in their own way.
Practicing personal care routines such as nappies, toileting, feeding and dressing.
Offering comfort to children when in need aswell as communicating and liaising with colleagues in the welfare of children.
Giving handovers to parents and building relationships between parents and sharing as much information as possible with what their child had engaged in throughout the day.

Apprenticeship programme is nicely organised and done through steps, nursery is consistent and has supportive staff.

My manager has been a great support system for me over the last 2 years, as well as some of the team, sharing advice and offering support.

I have gained so many new skills but through CPD, I can do those tasks more better and also working on my confidence is the biggest key.
