The structure of the modules provided by Paragon Skills are clear and easy to access via e-learning and workshops via teams.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

I initially found that I wasn't getting the required time to do my hours in work time and completed my tasks in my own time when not in work. It was difficult to get this time in my normal working day and this only changed during the school holidays as I did not have time to do this learning when my children were at home. This then made me push for me to have time in my working day to have as apprenticeship hours.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

If I needed help during the course I had access to emails for the tutors and any questions I had were answered.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

This qualification has given me the building blocks to allow me to do my job better. It gave me more information on how to deal with any situations that may take place and to be able to think about things in a different way.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

Why?
I would recommend working with Voyage Care and doing an apprenticeship with Paragon Skills. I work with some amazing individuals, and supporting them to live their lives to their fullest is such a privilege. I would suggest that the company pays its employees better as it expects a lot from the staff. Value the staff more and keep them! Paragon skills - will look forward to completing the next level diploma with them in the future.
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to VOYAGE Care?
You will work with some amazing individuals and staff. Do the diploma when offered as it is a fantastic tool for staff to gain more knowledge of the care sector.
