Overview of Experience
Please give an overview of the insight and what was involved on a day-to-day basis.
On each day there was a series of informational webinars to inform about how to apply for university/apprenticeships, how to write acc and how to build a public profile to best represent yourself. There were team tasks and individual tasks which made learning new information easier.
What was it like understanding all about the business and potential roles available?
The mentors and leaders helped inform me about different job roles within Deloitte and what their roles consist of day to day. I feel this helped me decide which careers I would like to venture into further and decipher which weren’t for me.

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
There was a very professional but relaxed environment, there was a lot of attention to detail such as the on time emails sent and informational leaflets supplied that created a very smooth running experience. This created a very poised and comfortable environment to work in.

Overall Experience
To what extent did you enjoy the insight?
I really enjoyed the insight, it showed how great Deloitte is as a company and being able to talk to people who recently went through the apprenticeship program allowed me to get a relevant and up to date feel for the programme. Their tips and tricks really helped benefit me as I can now use these to help further my research on what career I would like to pursue.

What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Deloitte
Be yourself. There is no point in lying about what you can and can’t do, or writing about who you want to be rather than what you are, as a company can always teach you skills, they cannot teach a personality, so yes, be yourself because that’s what they’re looking for.
