Please give an overview of the insight and what was involved on a day-to-day basis.
Spent two weeks networking with analysts, hearing senior talks, completed 3 day course both Finance and Accounting related. Completed 2 case studies; MandA and IPO related
What was it like understanding all about the business and potential roles available?
Extremely insightful- especially due to the option to network with current employees, learning what they each do.

Improved both my accounting and financial skills as well as gaining knowledge on how to value an IPO, exit strategies for investors, methodologies for divesting assets to ensure a legal acquisition etc.

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
Completely exceeded expectations - every single person (no exaggeration) I met and networked with was extremely helpful, kind and friendly. The culture seems to be so happy, with everyone keen to help out.

Overall Experience
To what extent did you enjoy the insight?
Couldn’t have enjoyed it more. Not only did I learn a lot, I met many people, gained further knowledge into the different job options at GS and all round had an insightful week. Extremely privileged to have been presented with this opportunity and am very thankful to everyone who helped me :)

Spend a lot of time of your Cover Letter- highlighting why GS, why IB (if applying for IB) and why you. If you receive the offer, network with as many people as possible to learn more about GS and put in effort in the group projects, working collaboratively with your teammates.
