Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
5/5
Come into work and speak to the technicians and see what jobs are available. Keep up to date with college work, NVQ , and other outstanding project you may be given.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
5/5
I absolutely love it, the work I do on site is extremely interesting and I always find something new to learn.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
5/5
I have gained a lot more confidence in myself and talking to new people. I have further developed my understanding with engineering and what it takes to be a maintenance technician.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
5/5
There is a very organised set plan which is followed, and, when there are changes, you are made aware with ample time.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
5/5
I receive a lot of support from my employer as they always ask how I am getting on and if there is anything I need, they are happy to help.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
3/5
There is not as much support from the training provider as there isn't as much structure to where the lessons are planned and if there are available lecturers to provide and deliver the syllabus.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
3/5
I feel as if the training provider may only show the basics of what is required when you go on site. This is because some of the systems used slightly differ or different components or processes are used.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
4/5
There are a lot of different opportunities which can be done outside of work such as charity event, fundraiser events and visits to schools and colleges to advertise and inspire people to join a BMW apprenticeship.
