Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
4/5
On Tuesdays I go to College for my Level 3 qualification.
On Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday I spend time in my placements. I change placements every three months. During these placements I learn what the area I am in does, and their day to day roles.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
3/5
My enjoyment of the programme depends on the specific placement i'm in, and the overall apprenticeship.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
5/5
I have learnt a large amount of skills and developed the ones I already had.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
3/5
It depends on the placement, but so far has been somewhat organised. College has not been organised.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
5/5
My employer has been excellent in their support.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
1/5
No support. The college is very inattentive and are lacking in teachers, resources, and we have yet to complete a class that was supposed to be completed last year.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
1/5
I don't believe that many of the classes support my performance in my job role.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
4/5
There are a few different teams available for us, such as the Charity Team, Sharepoint Team, and Newsletter Team. We are also able to do school visits about the apprenticeship.

Recommendations & Advice

Would you recommend BMW Group UK to a friend?
No
Why?
Whilst it has some benefits, there are other apprenticeships that would be better. If I were back to before I was in my apprenticeship, I would not apply again.
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to BMW Group UK?
Be honest.
