Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

As a level 3 maintenance apprentice we shadow the technicians in there day to day life this includes attending breakdowns and completing any tasks that we are asked to complete.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

The working side is excellent however the college side i personally feels lacks in many ways such as organisation and resources

I have learnt a wide range of skills from electrical to hand tools

There has been a lot of issues with organisation within the apprenticeship that have caused minor to major issues
How much support do you receive from your employer?

Employees inside of the factory are amazingly helpful and the apprentice advisors are approachable
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

Organisation is beyond poor withing that college it is blatantly clear that there is no internal communication with regards to progress and with any subject for that manner.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

we have not received in depth teaching we are more given the answers to get the qualification.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

There is a fair amount however it can be difficult to get involved with due to the amount of apprentices there are within hams hall

Would you recommend BMW Group UK to a friend?
Yes
Why?
It is a great company if you come straight into a contract but i would not recommend the apprenticeship to a friend, i like them too much to put them through the stress.
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to BMW Group UK?
just be yourself the company respects honest and rewards it
