Overview of Role
Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
As a Software Engineer, my time was mainly spent reading documentation for Axiom SL Controller View in order to understand and implement their API calls. Wells Fargo also does a great job of ensuring all of the interns get plenty of networking opportunities through lunches, webinars and in-person meeting with senior members of the organisation.
Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
I was given a lot of responsibility, and was given access to everybody I wanted to talk to in the Wells Fargo global ecosystem, resulting in me making very meaningful scripts.

I have learnt three new programming languages and was given the resources to learn them! I have also learnt about ControllerView and about the various areas in finance.
