Overview of Experience
Please give an overview of the insight and what was involved on a day-to-day basis.
Day to day tasks involved completing assigned tasks, in my case related to the testing phase of the software implementation, as well as working towards objectives set near the start of the internship such as training courses or networking
What was it like understanding all about the business and potential roles available?
Very insightful - I had the opportunity to reach out to lots of people from all parts of Deloitte to explore where I would be best suited and where my strengths may lie. Everyone was very willing to speak ranging from analysts all the way up to partners

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
I have developed my knowledge of the ALM software as well as excel through a LinkedIn training course. I also took part in a Deloitte Digital Salesforce training day which has developed my knowledge in this area as well as overall confidence operating in a business setting

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
Really impressive - hybrid working means they are flexible on when you come in to the office. The office layout is also really great as anyone can book a desk or office space anywhere and it is an open layout encouraging conversation. People are keen to talk about their roles and help each other as well as getting involved in social events outside of work

To what extent did you enjoy the insight?
Very much so - there are obvious limitations on a 4 week internship that means not everything can be achieved in such little time but bearing that in mind I think Deloitte did a good job

Be yourself, there’s a real variety of personalities on the internship and they’re not always looking for the same thing. Prepare well, understand the culture as much as possible
