Overview of Experience
Please give an overview of the insight and what was involved on a day-to-day basis.
Great immersive opportunity which got the interns stuck in and working alongside the teams in order to carry out client engagements. The summer vacation programme offers opportunities to work on different clients which allows people to gain exposure to different stages and work in the profession. Deloitte offers an very welcoming environment which allows interns to constantly learn and receive constructive feedback on work that was carried out.
What was it like understanding all about the business and potential roles available?
We were given opportunities to ask question in our regions and HR were quite open to discussing about the potential roles that are available and the availability of each role. Furthermore, we had inductions to learn more about the firm and its business alongside with partners introducing themselves and the company.

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
I have developed my time management skills and the ability to prioritise. Furthermore I was able to develop my interpersonal skills by forming friendly and professional relationships with colleagues and clients. Additionally, I also learnt skills directly attributable to the profession like attention to detail, excel, working under pressure and problem solving skills.

I very much enjoyed my insight into Deloitte and the audit profession which has helped me made the decision that I will return to Deloitte in a grad role in Audit.
