Yes, I have been able to develop my research and analysis skills in relation to policy work. I have gained an awareness and understanding of different policy knowledge and skills whilst also gaining interesting opportunities to work with different policy teams to gain more experience working in live policy.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?

Yes, I like the mix of assignment and 2 half day seminars rather than it being on one full day. I think the tutor and progress sessions are also useful.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

My employer is very supportive and has supported me and continues to support me in gaining valuable experiences working in policy teams related to my area of work.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

The tutors are very supportive and accommodating, offering support sessions and answering questions I have.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

I think being able to gain experience working with policy teams in related policy helps me understand the full process of policy work as my role is more the implementation side of policy I gain a much more rounded view.
