Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.

The svs gave interns exposure to project work they can expect as a full time consultant. Within the four weeks you could expect to sit in on meetings, complete various tasks, contribute to different projects and learn about the role to decide if it suits you. More importantly network and learn more about Deloitte.

Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?

As it’s four weeks there’s not much you can be responsible for, but most of your tasks are independent, you are pretty much responsible for how you use your time and connect.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills, or developed your existing skills?

During such a short period it’s difficult to obtain major skills but definitely a great place to network and learn to build strong relationships with colleagues and clients. Great introduction to the types of technical skills that could be built in the future.
