On a day to day basis, I perform maintenance on tool and die equipment which involves cleaning and checking components and making repairs where needed.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?

The apprenticeship is well structured for the most part as you will be given daily activities to complete but some days are slower with less to do.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

There is a lot of support from employers as they are only a message away and are always willing to help.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

The employer is very helpful towards aiding with the qualification and are willing to adapt due dates if you need more time
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

The qualification is less focused on the role itself but it still feels very beneficial to have.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

There aren't many out of work opportunities but there are some charity events that will occur outside work such as charity football matches between employees.

Why?
I feel it is a nice work environment and fellow employees are nice to work with. The qualification is also very good to have for future opportunities.
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to BMW Group UK?
Make sure to socialise with the other employees and employers as this will help with networking in the workplace.
