Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

A day looks like greeting my coworkers at 7:30 every morning finding out what i’m going to be doing for the day whether that’s little jobs on my own , working with a spark or helping my supervisor with some delivery bits.

Yes , meeting new people every day helps build confidence and gain new skills talking to them and getting to know them. Also hands on skills such as using different tools , protecting yourself with ppe etc.
Structure and Support
How well organised/structured is your programme?

Very structured as i’m in college every monday gaining my theory qualifications that i will need in order to achieve my goal of becoming fully qualified.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

Whenever i have a question i email whoever i need to speak to and always receive a polite response either helping me or passing me on to someone who can help me
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

I receive support majority from my tutor at college as he helps with my exams and passing them with exceeding results.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

Definitely gives me more knowledge when going back to work and trying to include and ask questions about what i’ve learnt at college into the workplace
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

Yes , every year we have an apprentice away day. We have been to alton towers. These away days include activity like ice breakers and team building. I also participated in a sports day for birmingham children’s hospital which i thoroughly enjoyed.
