Overview of Experience

Please give an overview of the insight and what was involved on a day-to-day basis.

There were a number of insightful organised sessions, including learning more about the firm as a whole, legal tech, ESG, negotiations and more. There was also a fantastic social but the highlight was the extensive direct trainee shadowing opportunity that allowed me to go in depth and learn about the firm and a specific practice.

The presentations were insightful and interactive allowing for a far more in depth learning opportunity compared to traditional presentations.

As my first legal internship, I built key legal knowledge and skills. The feedback I received from my supervisor allowed me to improve my legal writing and technical analysis.

Company Culture

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?

Everyone from all levels of the firm were incredibly friendly and supportive without the scheme. I was able to have in depth conversations with multiple partners, and coffee chats with associates and trainees which allowed me to learn a lot about the firm and the work.
